Job Title:

Intermediate Architectural Designer

Job Location:

New York, NY; may work from home up to two days per week.

Duties:

Support staff and Project Managers in developing design layouts and frameworks for projects, including preparation of drawings and specifications; research design and planning to ensure alignment with project goals; prepare project specifications and analyze relevant data for informed decision-making; participate in writing reports, specifications, estimates, and calculations; research and gather data on building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements to ensure compliance; join in site visits to assess project conditions, gather information, and ensure design accuracy; collaborate with other junior support staff and interns, sharing expertise and assisting with task completion; develop an understanding of managing tasks through effective collaboration; and provide support as needed to meet project milestones and keep tasks on track.

Job Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field, plus 18 months of experience in an architectural designer role, and 1 year of experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Cloud, V-Ray, Sketch Up, and 3D printing.

Salary Offered: $72,010 - $95,000 per year.
