Join Micron's Global Facilities & Construction (GFAC) organization as a Construction Program Manager - Project Governance & Controls and lead the way in delivering world-class capital construction programs!
This role offers an outstanding chance to create and maintain a strict framework for managing cost, schedule, scope, quality, and commissioning performance. You will ensure perfect alignment with our ambitious business goals and program standards.
Responsibilities
• Document and deploy program-level governance, controls, and standardized processes from project inception to close-out to ensure consistent execution across all programs.
• Provide consolidated tracking metrics of project health across cost, schedule, scope management, quality, and commissioning enabling alignment and early intervention.
• Coordinate structured processes to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, issues, and scope changes to support proactive delivery execution.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in capital project delivery, supporting teams on guidelines across all phases from planning through commissioning.
• Define and maintain comprehensive project delivery engagement criteria, ensuring execution requirements are clearly established upfront.
• Ensure delivery requirements are embedded in contracting strategies and contract documents and carried through build, construction documents, and field execution.
• Align construction, engineering, procurement, finance, and site teams around program objectives and delivery expectations.
• Deliver concise, coordinated reporting and insights that support leadership decision-making and proactive management of program performance.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Over 10 years of experience in capital project delivery, program management, or project controls
• Experience handling project performance measures (cost, schedule, scope, quality, commissioning, safety)
• Solid grasp of the project lifecycle from planning through construction and commissioning
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in large-scale capital programs (semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or similar)
• Familiarity with governance frameworks, project controls methodologies, and performance tracking systems
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, RICS, Lean Six Sigma)
