Ascella Technologies is looking for an
Interface Lead to support the modernization of legacy financial management capabilities for a federal agency. By collaborating on the integration architecture, you will help ensure stable transaction flows between external systems and a modern cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. Your work directly contributes to improving daily operational efficiency and data integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Integration Delivery: Lead a high-performing technical team through the complete analysis, design, development, and testing of complex batch and real-time interface programs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary engineering liaison with systems integrators and legacy asset owners, translating functional requirements into approved Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Agile Governance: Champion Lean-Agile delivery within a structured Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), converting user stories into scalable, production-ready integration builds.
Must-Have Skills (Required)- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- 10+ years of experience in federal financial management systems, including a minimum of 5 years explicitly leading interface development teams for enterprise-scale software deployments.
- Proven, hands-on experience designing and developing both batch and real-time interfaces specifically for CGI Momentum products.
- 2+ years of experience successfully directing technical teams within an Agile or SAFe framework.
- Mastery of designing, updating, and finalizing comprehensive Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).
Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)- Familiarity with enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies, Red Hat JBoss EAP, or Red Hat Fuse architectures.
- Experience converting manual test frameworks into automated regression testing scripts.

Location: Washington, DC (mostly remote)
Base Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and we are open to discussing compensation based on your qualifications and experience
