Responsibilities

Noblis ESI is seeking a Junior Threat Analysis (Intel) Specialist to provide support to space operations mission functions in an integrated space operations center environment located in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

The selected candidate will support threat analysis activities spanning all-source intelligence analysis, counterspace operations assessment, and mission partner coordination across NRO, USSPACECOM, the Combatant Commands, and the broader Intelligence Community. Working under the guidance of senior intelligence professionals, this role will contribute to the development and maintenance of accurate and timely threat assessments to support space and counterspace operations decision-making.

ResponsibilitiesInclude:
  • Conduct all-source intelligence analysis in support of multi-domain (space, terrestrial, cyber) space and counterspace operations threat assessments.
  • Monitor and assess intelligence reporting from multiple IC sources to identify risk to mission.
  • Identify intelligence gaps and intelligence and collection requirements to reduce intelligence gaps related to space and counterspace operations.
  • Maintain the operations center Common Intelligence Picture by providing timely and accurate threat analysis products related to risk to the space mission.
  • Support briefings and presentations of threat assessments to operations staff and senior personnel.
  • As directed, collaborate with USSPACECOM, USSF, NRO, and IC partners to ensure integrated threat analysis support.
  • Support the development and implementation of intelligence TTPs for space threat analysis.
  • Maintain awareness of current and emerging threats to space systems and operations.
  • Perform research and analysis on adversary space capabilities, intentions, and activities.
  • Support senior analysts in the production of organization threat and risk assessment reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise OR Master's degree and 1 year of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise OR 4 additional years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise if no bachelor's degree is held.
  • Degree in Intelligence Studies, Political Science, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated foundational experience in intelligence analysis in support of space or counterspace operations.
  • Familiarity with all-source intelligence analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with IC agencies.
  • Basic understanding of counterspace operations and associated intelligence requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey intelligence assessments clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively under supervision in a matrixed, multi-organization environment.


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with NRO MGS/IC operations.
  • Familiarity with USSPACECOM and USSF operational processes.
  • Basic understanding of orbital mechanics and satellite operations.
  • Familiarity with counterspace operations intelligence and threat analysis methodologies.
  • Experience with IC collection management processes.
  • Knowledge of space situational awareness systems and tools.
  • Background in multi-INT or multi-domain analysis.
  • Familiarity with intelligence production processes and finished intelligence products.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

USD $75,000.00 - USD $117,225.00 /Yr.
