Job Title: Integration Finance Lead - EM&S

About the Job
The Integration Finance Lead - EM&S drives financial excellence across a large portfolio of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), by partnering with key stakeholders to optimize External Supply operations. This position offers strong exposure to the leadership team and cross-functional partners across supply chain, operations, procurement, and quality - making it an exceptional opportunity for finance professionals looking to accelerate their career growth and broaden their strategic impact.

The focus of the position is on leading the M&S financial steps for CMO operations from key initiatives such as M&S, R&D pipeline and make vs buy sourcing decisions. This position serves as a strategic financial advisor directly influencing key business decisions and organizational priorities.

Our External Manufacturing & Supply organization manages the outsourced production and supply of Drug Substance, Drug Product, and Finished Goods for all GBUs (Specialty Care, General Medicines, and Vaccines) across Sanofi - representing 21.4B in CMO purchases annually. This role offers a unique platform to develop deep expertise across finance, operations, and strategy while contributing to the delivery of life-changing treatments to patients worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive and deliver M&S financial readiness for COGS and investments for CMO operations from M&A or transitioning from R&D. Ensure a smooth integration process without business disruptions.
  • Deliver accurate budget and forecast projections while meeting all M&S and corporate FP&A deadlines with strong analytical content and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Monitor key contractual manufacturing commitments, assess financial impact including cost deviations and build risk mitigation plans.
  • Develop robust financial modeling and provide strong financial insights to support and influence strategic decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders (EM&S, finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc.)
  • Perform month-end closing activities with a focus on manufacturing variances (Yield, pricing, overhead, capitalization), opex, inventory, and provisions.
  • Lead the key messages and analytical depth of reporting packages for annual budget, strategic plan and actual results.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submissions in different accounting and reporting systems (SAP, TM1) by coordinating with central teams executing the inputs into the financial systems and reporting.
  • Oversee the standard costs process in compliance with Sanofi policies and in accordance with financial clauses and pricing per CMO contracts. Close working relationship with Hub central teams.
  • Regularly monitor inventory for optimization of production planning and lead the process to prevent and mitigate losses due to excess & obsolescence.
  • Identify and track key KPIs driving business performance (cost per gram, P&D, yield performance).
  • Maintain internal controls and apply Sanofi financial policies. Close coordination with Corporate Accounting, tax, Transfer Price, etc. Prepare deliverables necessary for SOX controls, Internal Control, and internal and external auditors.


About You

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor9;s Degree required. MBA or CPA in Finance, Business, or Accounting is desirable
  • 5+ years of work experience in Finance OR Accounting with emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting, and/or forecasting.
  • Cost accounting experience a plus.
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of any ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and/or financial planning software (e.g., TM1, HFM, Anaplan) required; intermediate to advanced SAP knowledge preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and people skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and global environment.
  • Experience working with a team and collaborating cross-functionally.

The salary range for this position is:
$133.500,00 - $192.833,33
