About the role

We are seeking a talented and versatile full-time Professional Services Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a key technical representative of the Crunchtime Professional Services team, creating tailored integration solutions to address our customers' specific business needs. This position is crucial in ensuring seamless data flow between Crunchtime's core product suite and the diverse third-party applications our customers utilize, such as point-of-sale (POS), accounting, HRIS, and payroll systems.
The ideal candidate is a methodical, organized problem-solver with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, acting as the bridge between technical requirements and business solutions, and will be eager to learn about the restaurant industry and the value Crunchtime software contributes to business operations.
What you'll do as an Integration Engineer
  • Develop and Implement Tailored Solutions: Design, build, test, and support robust integration solutions that meet specific customer business requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Professional Services, Product Development, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success, to define scope, gather requirements, and deliver high-quality integrations.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve in a customer-facing role, collaborating directly with clients to understand their needs and tailor integration solutions effectively.
  • Requirements Translation: Translate functional business requirements into detailed technical specifications and implementation plans.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain clear and concise documentation for all integration processes and tailor communication appropriately for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for existing integrations, troubleshooting issues, and implementing timely resolutions.
  • API Management: Utilize REST and SOAP APIs effectively to facilitate data exchange between systems.
What we're looking for
  • Education: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
  • Snowflake Development: 2+ years of experience with Snowflake development, including stored procedures and functions.
  • Javascript Development: 2+ years of Javascript development experience.
  • Python Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of Python.
  • API Proficiency: Proficient in working with REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience using development and project management tools such as GitHub, Postman, Jira, and Snowsight.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: 2+ years of experience operating in a customer-facing role (e.g., support analyst, technical consultant).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical details simply.
  • Work Style: Methodical, organized, and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Compensation:

The annual base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000.

Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Crunchtime has a location-based compensation system, so someone doing the same job in a different city might have a different pay range.
