Integrated Media Strategy Lead

Job Description

The Integrated Media Strategy Lead (IMSL) serves as the embedded media expert responsible for translating brand objectives into unified, insight-driven paid/owned/earned strategies that drive measurable business growth. The role leads annual media planning, audience strategy, and full-funnel measurement across national and retail channels in partnership with cross-functional teams and agency partners. It ensures connected, high-quality execution across paid media and plays a critical role in advancing KCNA's media capability maturity. Operating within a highly matrixed ecosystem, the IMSL partners directly with senior marketing leaders and SMEs to influence decisions and optimize media investment.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the full annual integrated media planning process, translating brand objectives into cohesive, insight-driven strategies that span the entire consumer journey, supporting on brand briefs
  • Develop one unified integrated media strategy that connects National media, Retail media, Organic Social, Influencer/Creator, etc. (across paid, owned, and earned) in service of brand growth.
  • Partner with the Brand Content & Connections Lead, media AOR, Demand Creation Leads, Insights & Analytics, and other SMEs to define measurable KPIs and determine optimal channel and budget allocation.
  • Ensure end-to-end strategic alignment between National and Retail media through one unified audience strategy, channel strategy, and activation.
  • Coordinate with agency and internal partners to optimize reach, frequency, and incrementality across all touchpoints, minimizing duplication and maximizing impact.
  • Integrate brand, shopper, and category insights to ensure the media plan matches how consumers move across the funnel and purchase environments.
  • Champion and build strategy for effectiveness gains as primary strategy for brand growth, while governing plans and execution to maintain/improve efficiency
  • Steward in-market paid media performance with agency partners, ensuring pacing accuracy, optimization, and investment quality.
  • Lead quarterly MMM inputs and performance reporting, translating insights into clear optimization actions.
  • Support capability advancement for KCNA at large by contributing to enterprise test & learn agenda, codifying learnings into best practices, and championing high standards of excellence and innovation in media

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of media or communications planning experience with a strong track record of driving brand growth
  • Worked at a media agency AND/OR in a client-side media role
  • Expertise in digital media landscape, inclusive of understanding of retail media networks
  • Strong business acumen and curiosity with ability to interpret performance drivers
  • Executive presence with strong influencing skills across cross-functional and agency teams
  • Bias for action, test-and-learn mindset, and strong organizational skills
  • Growth mindset, empathy-led leadership and passion for coaching and upskilling others

Preferred
  • Experience within CPG marketing
  • Experience in integrated communications strategy and audience strategy
  • Experience managing large, multi-agency ecosystems
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

Salary Range: 140,320 - 173,360 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
