Job Title: Integrated Business Planner

Compensation Range: Between $70,000 - $120,000 CDN annually

Essential Functions:

The Integrated Business Planner is a critical hub role responsible for synchronizing demand, supply, and financial plans to ensure the business operates efficiently. The candidate will bridge the gap between high-level strategic Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) and the tactical reality of production scheduling with the goal of optimizing asset utilization while maintaining world-class service levels.
  • SIOP: Facilitate monthly SIOP cycles by reconciling demand forecasts with supply capabilities. Highlight gaps between the bottom-up plans and top-down financial targets.
  • Production Scheduling & Logic: Translate the mid-term aggregate plan into a detailed, executable weekly/daily production schedule.
  • Balance customer commitments with labour, equipment, material and supplier constraints
  • Inventory Optimization: Establish and monitor safety stock levels, reorder points, and 'days of supply' targets to balance working capital with order fulfillment.
  • Scenario Modeling: Perform 'What-If' analysis to evaluate the impact of demand spikes, supply chain disruptions, or capacity changes on the master schedule.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead consensus meetings with Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing to align on a single 'constrained' plan.
  • Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensure alignment with the approved SIOP Plan
  • KPI Management: Own and report on key metrics including:
    * MPSA (Master Production Schedule Adherence)
    * COTD (Customer On-Time Delivery)
    * Forecast Accuracy
    * Inventory Turns


Qualifications:
  • 8-12+ years in integrated planning, SIOP/IBP, master scheduling, or operations planning
  • Hands-on ownership of SIOP and Master Production Scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in engineered-to-order, make-to-order, or mixed-mode manufacturing
  • Multi-site experience preferred
  • Strong cross-functional leadership without direct authority
  • Ability to challenge priorities and escalate trade-offs appropriately
  • Executive-level communication and facilitation skills
  • Structured, systems-thinking approach with strong operational judgment
  • Aerospace, defense, industrial, or regulated manufacturing experience
  • CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent certification
  • Experience supporting ERP or APS implementations
  • Lean, CI, or World Class Manufacturing exposure

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Proficient using enterprise planning softwares, preferred SAP and or infor ERPLN
  • Power BI proficiency


Eligibility Criteria:
  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
