This role is accountable for the accurate and timely completion of complex accounting activities, financial reporting, and related controls and serves as a primary accounting partner for assigned insurance programs. This role coordinates with internal business partners and external counterparties to resolve accounting matters, strengthen processes, and support product and program growth.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Month-end close: Coordinate month-end close activities with cross-functional partners and the external program administrator. Prepare and review journal entries, supporting schedules, intercompany allocations, reconciliations, reporting, and eliminations, and independently address related inquiries.

Research discrepancies and coordinate the timely resolution of complex dealer-related accounting matters.
- Reconciliation and issue resolution: Review general ledger account reconciliations and serve as a primary accounting contact for OEM inquiries. Independently research and resolve complex issues within established accounting guidance and escalate matters requiring broader policy interpretation or senior-level expertise.
- Product initiatives, controls process improvements and technical guidance: Support product launches, program enhancements, and system implementations by evaluating accounting impacts and recommending appropriate accounting treatment. Monitor compliance with assigned Korean Sarbanes-Oxley (KSOX) control activities, recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls, and provide technical guidance to less-experienced team members.
