Payroll Manager

Role Overview:

We are rapidly growing global organization seeking an experienced and hands on Payroll Manager to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing payroll processes, support day-to-day payroll operations for US and globally.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Review and audit payroll for accuracy and completeness, identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
  • Manage internal and external audits relating to payroll
  • Manage quarterly and year end payroll tax filings for US and handle compliance requirements
  • Work with state agencies to resolve tax discrepancies
  • Independently identify and recommend new procedures to streamline payroll operations, controls automation and efficiency.
  • Participate in payroll system testing, enhancements.
  • Provide guidance and training to payroll administrator and support global payroll activities as required.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in payroll.
  • Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms; at least 2 years in Workday required, other systems a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of US payroll labor laws and payroll tax requirements.
  • Some experience working with payroll vendors for international payroll preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to details, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
