Major/Essential Functions- Contributes to the University's mission through teaching students and residents, research and clinical services
- Participates in the teaching and training of residents and medical students, to include the presentation of lectures
- Provides patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship
- Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
- Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications- Experience in clinical and/or basic biomedical science research
- Experience education of residents and/or medical students
- Board certification in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the rank of assistant professor or higher
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher

Required Qualifications- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited or RCPSC-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Texas medical license or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas
