Job Description

The Instructor will participate in research studies focused on liver cancer initiation and liver cancer maintenance. Particularly, focusing on how genetic alterations contribute to tumorigenesis and its relationship with the gut microbiome.

Responsibilities

  • Design, organize and conduct the experiments utilizing sophisticated mouse models for cancer.
  • RNAi and CRISPR technologies, valuable human cancer samples, and genetic profiling as key tools.
  • Mentoring and assist students and younger fellows in the laboratory.
  • Responsible for organizing/maintaining lab equipment and lab environment.
  • Compose scientific literature and deliver compelling presentations.


Qualifications

Educational and other Requirements for the position:
  • PhD in Biomedicine/Science.

Experience Required:
  • Postdoctoral Research (5+ years)
  • Proven expertise in pre-clinical mouse models of liver cancer.
