Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead the inside sales team, providing coaching, training, performance feedback, and development.
- Partners with the Branch Manager to manage staffing levels, load leveling, and participate in hiring decisions to support branch growth.
- Drive sales growth by developing new customer relationships and cultivating existing accounts.
- Assist senior management in developing and executing sales strategies to drive branch revenue, increase market share, and enhance customer relationships.
- Monitor daily sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met or exceeded and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, financial analysis, sales pipeline, customer feedback, operational status, and competitive trends.
- Ensure efficient collaboration between sales, warehouse, operations, shipping and receiving, and customer service to ensure accurate order processing, inventory management, and delivery schedules.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and support outside sales efforts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Maintain ERP to support transparency and real-time tracking in NetSuite.
- Increase personal knowledge and expertise in business acumen, appropriate technology, and industry product knowledge.
- Performs semi-routine duties where judgment is required when communicating with customers, sales representatives, and inter-company personnel. Work is performed under defined and uniform procedures.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Inside Sales, preferably within the warehouse and distribution related industry.
- At least 2 years of experience in managing a sales team with proven leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems (NetSuite).
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- The ability to collaborate with all levels of company staff.
- Ability to provide effective feedback.
