Schedule: Full-time 1.0 FTE evenings | 10-hour shifts 7:30am to 6pm or 1pm to 11:30pm | every third weekend and every third holiday rotation

How you'll make an impact in this role- Review and assess medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug related problems. Recommends formulary alternatives when appropriate.
- Compound and dispense medications for accurate delivery to patients.
- Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
- Communicate with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
- Oversee technical personnel who assist in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies. Assists with academic function such as serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students. May float to provide coverage of pharmacy needs.
- Provide patient counseling efficiently and effectively when required.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- PGY1 acute care residency preferred.
