Full Job Description
The Inpatient Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, consultation, and treatment recommendations for patients admitted to medical and surgical units. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams, this role supports the identification and management of behavioral health needs, promotes integrated patient care, and helps optimize clinical outcomes across the hospital setting. In addition to clinical responsibilities, this position will play a key role in supporting psychiatric education and physician development through participation in the Indiana University School of Medicine Psychiatry Residency Program, including the clinical supervision and training of residents as part of an eight-resident psychiatry residency program launching in July 2027.
