Position Title: Inpatient General Psychiatrist

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Position Overview:

Employment Type: Hospital Employed

Schedule / Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday schedule onsite, day hours

Call: 1:4 shared call

Patient Volume: 18 daily caseload expectation with the ability to earn extra with productivity bonus

Practice Setting: Inpatient adult daily caseload

Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists

EMR / Technology: Cerner

Growth opportunity: ECT opportunity as well if interested. Training can be offered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
  • Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
