MHS seeks an Infrastructure Specialist (IS) to join its dynamic Information Technology (IT) Department. This full-time, in-person role in Hershey, PA offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,210 to $100,552 annually and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is part of the IT Department's Infrastructure Team, which supports the Network, Audio/Video, and Telecom systems, as well as all server and data center infrastructure.
The IS serves as a junior administrator supporting the Server and Network Infrastructure teams. Responsibilities include administering, maintaining, and supporting network technologies, including switches, wireless access points, and firewalls; server technologies, including physical and virtual servers and server-based applications; and telecommunications systems, including the on-premises Mitel VoIP phone system, two-way radio system, and POTS infrastructure.

The Infrastructure Specialist collaborates with the network and server teams to execute projects and systems. Key duties include:
• Perform system administration tasks (ex: account and file share administration, data backup/restore tasks, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Proactively monitor and maintain technology systems
• Collaborate with various IT teams to implement projects and to solve cross-departmental technical challenges
• Configure, test, and install network, server, and telecom hardware and software
• Create and maintain documentation
Qualifications
• Associate degree in IT field or commensurate years of experience required
• At least five years of experience in the IT field
• A solid understanding of networking, server, telecom, and computer technology fundamentals
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving network, server, and telecom technical issues
• Experience using management tools to monitor and maintain technology systems
• Experience administering Windows-based server hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Experience creating and maintaining technology documentation
• Good organizational skills, ability to take ownership of complicated issues, and prioritize based on immediate needs
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
