Role: Infrastructure Patching Project Manager
Location: Toronto, ON
Single point of accountability for the L1.5 ISO patch factory in Canada - named escalation and relationship interface to client infra operations leadership
• Operates strictly as an execution layer under client direction; client retains full ownership of decisions, priorities, approvals, and governance outcomes
• Patch engineering, baseline definition, deployment-ring strategy, and emergency approval authority remain client-owned and out of scope
• Governs the onshore-offshore follow-the-sun model across Canada and India (Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune)
• Own end-to-end SLA adherence across all six patching towers - Windows, Linux, SQL, Oracle, Storage, Network - against agreed KPIs
• Govern RFC/CAB lifecycle; ensure readiness checks, conflict checks, and stakeholder communications are complete before each patch window
• Approve wave plans, compliance posture reports, and zero-day/emergency patch response strategies in coordination with client security and vulnerability teams
• Chair monthly governance reviews; present SLA/KPI dashboards - 6495% cycle coverage, 6499% change success rate, 6480% first-fix at L1.5, 642-day MTTR, 100% on-time reporting within 24 hours of cycle close
• Own audit-ready evidence packs for OSFI/SOX and sign off patch-compliance reporting within 24 hours of cycle close
• Act as the decision-velocity hub between client leadership and the offshore factory - manage escalations, risk alignment, and exception handling
• Drive continuous service improvement, SRE error-budget reviews, and non-punitive post-mortems with client L2/L3 engineering
• Lead phased engagement maturity progression - Resource - Service - Operational Maturity - Automation - per SOW milestones
• Manage capacity tracking, shift rostering at leadership level, and people leadership across onshore Tower Leads
• Coordinate zero-day and emergency patch response - critical patches within
• Review and approve enterprise patch wave plans, schedules, and maintenance windows across all towers aligned to client priorities
• Govern the RFC/CAB lifecycle; validate pre-patch readiness checks and post-patch compliance closure across towers
• Oversee CMDB accuracy, vulnerability ticket closure rates, and compliance posture reporting - 100% on-time within 24 hours of cycle close
• Coordinate cross-tower emergency/zero-day response; interface with client vulnerability and security teams for prioritisation
• Drive non-punitive post-mortem reviews for major patch failures; approve RCA outputs and preventive action plans
• Oversee Power BI/Excel dashboard maintenance for client-facing SLA/KPI reporting
• Direct SRE team on observability improvements, automation playbook governance, and error-budget consumption reviews
Compensation: We are offering between $115,000 - $129,000. Applications will be accepted until Sep 25, 2026.
