Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will support complex enterprise infrastructure initiatives involving server, network, and application environments. This role will translate technical requirements into detailed infrastructure plans, coordinate with cross-functional technology teams, and help ensure reliable and secure implementation of infrastructure changes.
Required Qualifications of the Infrastructure Engineer:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience building, implementing, or supporting IT infrastructure, including servers and networks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Eligibility for C2 clearance is required.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and software-defined networking environments.
- Experience with GitHub in support of infrastructure or software-defined networking initiatives.
- Experience with application design and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of server and network technologies, infrastructure deployment, and change management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with architecture, security, operations, and technology teams.

Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:- Evaluate business and technical requirements and determine the infrastructure changes needed to support applications and projects.
- Review approved technical solutions and develop detailed server and network implementation plans.
- Create comprehensive deployment specifications and technical documentation for implementation teams.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, operations, and other IT teams to ensure infrastructure solutions meet organizational requirements.
- Assess infrastructure dependencies, risks, and potential impacts associated with planned changes.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues while supporting reliable, secure, and efficient enterprise operations.
Work Location: Columbia, SC. Hybrid/partial onsite schedule with onsite work required Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, plus additional onsite presence as needed.
