Position Summary:
Cloud Database Engineer with AWS, PostgreSQL, Terraform, CI/CD, Linux, and Python experience to support modern database platforms, automation initiatives, and cloud-based database operations. Experience with DB2, Cockroach DB, Cassandra, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and AI-driven automation is a plus.
We are seeking a mid-level Cloud Database Engineer / Database Platform Engineer to support modern database platforms across cloud and enterprise environments. The successful candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, PostgreSQL databases, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and production platform operations.
The role will focus on designing, deploying, automating, and supporting highly available database platforms while driving operational excellence, cloud modernization, and automation initiatives. Experience with distributed databases, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in production environments, participating in planned maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex platform issues, and collaborating effectively within a global engineering team.
Also candidate should be comfortable with weekend work on ad hoc basis depending on need
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Cloud Database Engineer or Database Platform Engineer experience
- AWS Cloud Engineering and Platform Operations
- PostgreSQL Database Administration and Engineering
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- CI/CD and DevOps Automation (Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog, Ansible)
- Linux/Unix Administration
- Python and Shell Scripting
- Production Support and Operational Excellence.
- Kubernetes / OpenShift Platform Experience
- Distributed Database Technologies (Cockroach DB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) – Preferrable with either Cockroach or Cassandra

Pay range
$104,200.00 - $155,300.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
