The Role
As an Infrastructure/Cloud Architecture professional at Kyndryl, this role designs and guides cloud, Linux platform, container, and edge infrastructure architecture for a Kyndryl client's software engineering and product platform environment. This is a software-platform architecture role focused on cloud-edge engineering, Linux platforms, Kubernetes, containers, DevOps integration, and platform readiness rather than traditional server administration or data-center operations. Key responsibilities include designing cloud and platform architecture supporting engineering workloads, Linux platforms, containerized services, Kubernetes environments, DevOps pipelines, and product integration needs; supporting cloud implementation workstreams involving cloud architects, senior cloud engineers, platform engineers, DevOps engineers, technical leads, delivery leads, and project managers; providing guidance for scalability, reliability, automation, platform integration, infrastructure dependencies, operational readiness, and engineering enablement; collaborating with software, DevOps, testing, technical support, and delivery teams; and working within customer-provided cloud platforms, infrastructure, environments, toolchains, licenses, access models, and governance frameworks.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
• Solid understanding of Data Center mainly Systems, Storage, Networking & Security, Application & Databases
• Understanding of Systems and Solutions Architecture
• Hands-on experience & learning with Data Center technologies, Cloud Software, and interoperability
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
• MS Project or other Project Management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is -
$115,080 to $218,520 based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California (San Francisco Bay Area): $138,120 to $262,320
California (All Other):$126,600to$240,480
Colorado: $115,080 to $218,520
Massachusetts$115,080 to $240,480
New York City: $138,120 to $262,320
Washington: $126,600 to $240,480
Washington DC:$126,600 to $240,480
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
