THE WORK:- You'll provide operational leadership for the national Rail & Transit practice, supporting the Managing Director in overseeing day-to-day business operations, resource planning, and performance against the practice's strategic and financial goals
- You'll help lead annual budgeting and forecasting for the practice and manage the tracking of project revenues, expenditures, utilization, and profitability
- You'll support core operational workflows across departments, including contracts reviews, certificate of insurance requests, business license requests, proposal support requests, and staff requisitions
- You'll partner with the Rail & Transit Industry Captain and sub-Industry leads to set practice priorities, allocate resources, and translate strategy into actionable operating plans
- You'll manage, mentor, and develop practice staff, and support recruiting, onboarding, and team building to scale the national Rail & Transit practice
- You'll help establish and continuously improve the processes, tools, and best practices that drive consistency, quality, and efficiency across regional offices
- You'll help develop and execute the practice's growth strategy, coordinating business development pursuits with the Industry Captain, regional leads, and adjacent markets to accomplish goals for market growth
• You'll identify, lead, and collaborate with industry contacts to develop major pursuit efforts for the Rail & Transit market from identification through submission - You'll support he proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements and deadlines, content creation, and subsequent follow-up requirements, which may include interviews
- You'll generate new leads, screen potential business opportunities, and develop strategic partnerships and teaming relationships to position the practice for new work
- You'll build and maintain relationships with clients and teaming partners, arranging meetings and positioning the practice for upcoming opportunities
- You'll attend and participate in industry outreach and informational events to build local contacts, promote the Company and personal brand, and identify project opportunities
- You'll direct the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and oversee the development of marketing materials, presentations, and graphics for external purposes
- You'll work closely with all stakeholders across rail and transit programs, including but not limited to transit agencies, operators, contractors, executives, municipal officials, and funding partners such as the FTA and FRA
- You'll actively engage in presentations from preparation through delivery, and oversee the preparation of written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines
- Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.
- Travel: Up to 20% travel, as required by business needs.
- Onsite: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of experience, including leadership in business operations and/or business development
- Prior experience with rail, transit and transportation related industry
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing budgets, and overseeing day-to-day business operations
- Presentation Skills: Verbal & Digital (ability to create presentations, graphics, charts, etc. that explain topics effectively)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA)
- Must be a self-starter who is reliable, responsive, and professional, and able to handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness
$190,000 - $205,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
