We are looking for an IS Analyst II to join our team in Smyrna, TN. In this role, you will act as a strategic internal consultant, bridging business needs with innovative technology solutions. This role is key to optimizing processes, enhancing systems, and driving impactful improvements across global business functions.
Lead analysis across business processes, technology, cost structures, and strategy to identify opportunities for improvement.
Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to deliver effective and scalable system solutions.
Serve as a liaison between business units and service providers, ensuring alignment and successful execution.
Lead resolution of system incidents by coordinating across multiple third-party vendors.
Translate and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Support cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives impacting global operations.
Drive agile delivery, taking initiatives from requirements through implementation efficiently.
Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions.
Develop and document business and functional requirements (BRDs, use cases, system designs).
Perform gap analyses across regions and processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Partner with Solution Architects to develop technology roadmaps and reduce redundancy and cost.
Collaborate with operations teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend solutions.
Act as the key conduit between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear understanding and execution of requirements.
Work with developers and SMEs to define solutions that balance usability, scalability, and performance.
Manage vendor relationships, including selection, contract execution, and cost/feasibility analysis.
Lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing workload and navigating cross-functional dependencies.
Who We're Looking For
Required:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university.
5+ Years overall IS/IT experience with at least:
5+ years application development experience.
5+ years experience in working with third party vendors.
Working knowledge of interface with external systems.
Interface with mainframe system experience a plus.
Basic knowledge of Project Management methods, tools, and application development process.
Occasional travel may be needed in support of project work.
Desired:
Prior experience working with offshore personnel.
AWS cloud and Salesforce experience.
Interface with mainframe system experience.
