Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years can substitute for a degree)
• 5 years of experience in information security, specifically within DoD environments
• Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory
• Proficiency with DoD cybersecurity tools like ACAS and SIEM platforms
• Knowledge of network protocols and security systems
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server administration
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or equivalent are required

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls in line with DoD policies
• Monitor security and respond to incidents promptly
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation using DoD tools
• Collaborate with teams to ensure security integration in system designs
• Assist in maintaining security documentation like System Security Plans
• Support the RMF process for system accreditation and monitoring activities
• Participate in audits and assessments, providing remediation support
• Keep updated on emerging cyber threats and DoD directives
