Full Job Description
Position Summary

Odyssey is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to provide Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF), continuous monitoring, and authorization support for ACC-sponsored IT systems and enclaves. The analyst advises program offices, main operating bases, geographically separated units, and designated Combatant Command stakeholders on ACC and higher-headquarters cybersecurity policy, implementation procedures, and secure IT solutions supporting mission requirements at Langley AFB.

 

This is a full-time position at Langley AFB, VA

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Supporting RMF package development and MAJCOM-level review.
  • Administering and training users on the Air Force Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
  • Developing and delivering RMF, NIST, eMASS, and continuous-monitoring training.
  • Supporting policy development and repeatable cyber security processes.
  • Providing technical and programmatic guidance for IT system authorization.
  • Supports Federal Information Security Modernization Act and ITIPS cyber security requirements.
  • Participate in Air Force and DoD cyber security working groups.
  • Assists with implementation of A&A and continuous-monitoring programs.
  • Supports NIPRNet System/Network Approval Process and SIPRNet Global Information Grid Interconnection Approval Process activities, including access, circuit tracking, and updates.
Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret/SCI

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management or related discipline

Years of Experience: 

 

  • Six (6) year’s experience representing the MAJCOM when working with DoD, SAF, and AF AO officials to develop and interpret IA policies, guidelines, and principles.
  • Six (6) year’s experience working with IT system enclaves and PMO systems to identify common issues that need to be resolved and creating documents when appropriate to ensure a repeatable process is developed.
  • One (1) year familiarization with AF IA-approved tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Vulnerator.
  • Six (6) year’s experience providing cyber security solutions to meet mission requirements (e.g., develop a secure solution to support foreign national participation in military exercises).
  • Four (4) year’s experience using automated tools relating to Risk Management Framework (RMF) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) compliance and authorizations for IT systems.
  • Two (2) experience providing MAJCOM-level review of RMF packages to ensure initial RMF package submission is ready for AO's Security Control Assessment.
  • Four (4) year’s experience working with issues pertaining to base-level network architecture with numbered AF (NAF) or higher staff organizations.
  • Four (4) year’s experience providing eMASS user training and account administration.
  • Two (2) year’s experience with Information Technology Investment Portfolio System (ITIPS).
  • Four (4) year’s experience with DISA Global Information Grid (GIG) Interconnection Approval Process (GIAP) and DISA System Network Approval Process (SNAP).
  • Six (6) years of project management and effective communications (oral and written) experience in DoD environment.

  • CISSP-ISSMP
  • CySA+
  • GSLC
  • GSNA
