Revenue Management Analyst

Chatsworth - California, USA | Regular, Full-Time

The opportunity

As a Revenue Management Analyst at Ontic, you'll help turn cost, pricing and operational data into commercial decisions that support profitable growth. Working across estimating, pricing and revenue management activities, you'll provide the analysis and information needed to build stronger customer proposals and make informed business decisions.

You'll work closely with teams across the business to understand product costs, gather supplier information and support the quotation and contract review process. From assessing material availability and obsolescence to developing justified cost estimates when supplier pricing isn't available, you'll help make sure commercial decisions are backed by reliable information.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data but also wants to understand the products and business behind the numbers. You'll build relationships across teams, develop your technical and product knowledge and take increasing ownership of your work as you grow in the role.

What you'll be doing
  • Support pricing, estimating and revenue management activities that contribute to customer proposals, commercial decisions and profitable growth.
  • Analyze material availability, costing information, technical documentation and component obsolescence to support quotation, contract review and order review decisions.
  • Obtain and follow up on supplier quotations, or develop justified cost estimates where supplier pricing isn't available, to support customer pricing decisions.
  • Prepare supply chain and costing inputs for quotation and contract review activities, ensuring information is accurately captured and maintained.
  • Monitor performance measures including turnaround times, request aging and workload, helping ensure priorities remain aligned with business needs.
  • Work across teams to build and maintain the technical and product knowledge needed to provide accurate, commercially relevant analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business, applying sound judgement and taking increasing ownership of defined analytical and commercial activities.

What you'll bring
  • A bachelor's degree with relevant professional experience, or equivalent technical qualifications or significant relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in a technical, analytical or commercial support role within a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to work with cost and supplier information and draw well-supported conclusions to inform pricing and commercial decisions.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing requests and priorities.
  • The ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different areas of the business and contribute as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Previous experience in buying, estimating, pricing or finance would be advantageous.
  • Experience within aerospace or another relevant manufacturing environment would also be advantageous.
