HDR is looking for an Industrial Architecture Resources Manager to join our Industrial Architecture practice. This position will support programmatic project delivery objectives across North America for partner business groups, working directly with project teams, industrial architecture area team leads, and business group business development and client leadership. The BGX Lead will support projects in a variety of areas across North America to facilitate program growth, quality technical deliverables, resource allocation, and strategic program initiatives. In the role of Industrial Architecture Resources Manager, we'll count on you to: - Lead, direct, develop and implement team management and project execution strategies for key partner business group clients. - Collaborate with area, regional, and business class architecture leadership to forecast hiring needs and implement recruiting strategy. - Work closely with partner business group and operations leadership to identify and forecast resource needs for key projects, pursuits, and overall business volume. - Work closely with partner business group program and technical leadership to identify staffing gaps and develop proper resourcing plans.\ - In concert with area industrial architecture team leads and industrial architecture business class leadership, oversee workload balancing and coordination of worksharing, to ensure qualified staffing of project teams\ - Assist in staff recruitment, onboarding, and training as needed - Assist with daily operations, such as project oversight, management reviews, financial reviews, development of project management plans, as needed. - Develop and review workplans, fees, and scopes of work in support of business group pursuits and clients. - Help to drive growth in partner business groups in alignment with HDR's strategic plan and business group priorities through collaboration and planning with appropriate leadership teams. - Collaborate with industrial architecture business class leadership, other BGX leads, area team leads, architecture leadership, partner business groups, and project teams to develop, standardize, monitor, and improve processes related to project resourcing and readiness. - Drive consistency in approach to staffing, workplan and scope of work development, project quality, and project execution for partner business group's projects.\ - Collaborate with other BGX leads to ensure consistency in approach across multiple business groups. - Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications - Project management experience or PMP certification - Demonstrated experience leading large cross-functional teams on critical, high-profile projects - Demonstrated experience collaborating within a matrixed organization - A minimum 15 years' of experience Qualifications Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field - 10 years experience in related field - Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience - Experienced in development and management of diverse teams - Works cooperatively with other business class regional directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts - Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values - An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
