Full Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial AI Engineer in the Dallas- Fort Worth area.

The Industrial AI Engineer will develop and scale Industrial AI solutions that deliver measurable improvements in manufacturing performance, including efficiency, productivity, quality, and reliability. Working closely with data, platform, and factory teams, they will translate AI concepts into production-ready solutions, validate them in live industrial environments, and drive successful adoption on the shop floor.

This role focuses on transforming data, AI, and automation into practical applications that create tangible business value for customers and Siemens. The AI Engineer will help advance continuous improvement by applying AI to solve real-world industrial challenges and enable repeatable deployment across manufacturing operations in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

You'll make a difference by:
  • Being responsible for developing and deploying AI models that address a wide range of industrial and manufacturing challenges through data-driven insights and decision-making.
  • Working with time-series shopfloor data and MES/IT data to design and build AI solutions that are aligned with real production processes and operational needs.
  • Performing data preparation, featuring engineering, and model development, ensuring that contextualized industrial data is effectively utilized for AI applications.
  • Deploying AI models into real factory environments, ensuring reliable performance under real-world conditions such as data variability, latency, and integration with operational workflows.
  • Collaborating closely with Cybersecurity, Data Architects, System Architects, software developers, and factory teams to ensure AI solutions are scalable, reusable, and integrated into industrial systems.
  • Engaging and collaborating with external partners to ensure effective implementation of standardized Industrial AI solutions.
  • Continuously validating and refining AI models based on production data and feedback, ensuring that solutions deliver measurable improvements in operational performance and business outcomes.
  • Leading the scaling of AI solutions across plants, enabling repeatable deployment patterns and contributing to the standardization of Industrial AI capabilities across the organization.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with the following:
    • Developing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, or automation domains.
    • Programming in relevant languages (e.g., Python, R, Java) and common AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), with hands-on experience building and testing machine learning models.
    • Deploying and validating AI models in industrial or production environments.
    • Working in cross-functional, customer-facing teams and adapting solutions to evolving requirements.
    • Working with data-driven systems in operational or industrial environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% to be with customer teams during critical deployment
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical industrial applications.
  • Experience working in production manufacturing environments, including piloting, validating, and refining AI solutions in operational settings based on production feedback.
  • Familiarity with Industrial AI platforms and ecosystems, including Siemens solutions (e.g., Senseye, Industrial Edge) or comparable AI/IoT platforms, as well as industrial automation systems, OT/IT integration, and cloud-based AI deployment.
  • Knowledge of data preparation, feature engineering, AI model evaluation, and compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements for AI in industrial environments.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and workstreams in a deadline-driven environment while supporting the continuous improvement of AI solutions through performance monitoring, model drift mitigation, model refinement, and scaling across multiple deployments.
  • Proven ability to share deployment learnings and collaborate with factory teams to drive continuous improvement and adoption of AI solutions.

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,942 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
