As a Controls Enigneer, you must be able to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Evaluate control systems, products, components, and applications.
Evaluate new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate.
Confirm control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.
Prepare and/or reviews electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers.
Ensure integrity of process and build data collection.
Provide information to manufacturing, process, and other engineering disciplines by answering questions and requests.
Keep equipment operating by performing periodic audits; troubleshooting breakdowns; requesting supplies; defining and reviewing preventive maintenance plans; calling for repairs; and implementing process improvements.
Maintain project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
Manage supplier development and delivery.
All other duties as assigned.
