Job Description:

This role enables the governance and delivery of all IMO (Integration Management Office) prioritized demands, organized by regions (NA, LA, EU, EMEA, China, Accelerator).

Protect the core business functions, assess the relevant dependencies, timings and sequencing, while enabling the regional leads to focus on design, development, deployment and nurturing of all IMO approved initiatives. Works hand-in-hand with Regional Leads and Regional CIOs

Please note: The Global Function Portfolio Lead (Navigator) is not an individual project manager or scrum master, nor are they a replacement for functional/regional Co-Pilots. This is a highly collaborative, relationship-driven role requiring strong functional knowledge to credibly represent and influence key discussions.

The IMO Tech Regional Portfolio Lead (Navigator) is a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative professional who thrives in fast-paced transformation environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and connectivity across complex organizations.

This role requires strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership enablement capabilities, with the ability to work across multiple teams, priorities, and senior stakeholders simultaneously. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, improving team effectiveness, supporting functional and leadership forums, and helping create operational consistency across a highly matrixed global organization.

The successful candidate will act as a connective layer across the broader Tech Blueprint ecosystem, helping improve collaboration, visibility, engagement, and organizational cohesion while supporting functional leaders in driving integrated execution across the Mars and Kellanova integration journey.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Governance for Regions
  • Support the Global PMO Lead, from design to execution of solid frameworks, playbooks and ways of working.
  • Translate the IMO vision into jobs to be done and reflect all jobs to be done into the in-take process, prioritization criteria and relevant gates within iPLC and PMXi
  • Read the region's temperature and be the problem solver within IMO to help them succeed and deliver on time and on budget
  • Manage cross regional external partners, its deliverables and financials
  • Escalate properly in a very ambiguous environment, comfortable on being uncomfortable


Business Continuity
  • Work closer to MGS, Regional Leads, Business Partners and Co-Pilots to protect the change freeze, the critical business operations and its FY performance
  • Orchestrate the impact of changes in the operations with IMO Change & Comms, through regional leads and necessary stakeholders
  • Partner with TMO (Test Mgt Office) to ensure its frameworks are being followed by regions


Operating Model across IMO Teams
  • Actively manage the input and output into iPLC (Product Lifecycle) and PMXi (Project Mgt)
  • Manage and report RAIDs/KDDs properly within IMO Core and with key senior stakeholders
  • Lead commercial RFPs and SOWs to get the best-in-class solutions thru optimized costs


Continuous Improvement and Innovation
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant for the Integration
  • Keep an active mindset of "what if" and "why not" to create an atmosphere of learning for all
  • Ensure all Regional Leads are fully equipped, with right processes, tools, people and funding model
  • Partner with VMO (Value Mgt Office) to explore and achieve efficiencies, positively influencing Mars Snacking TCO


People Management
  • Manage 4-7 associates / contractors as part of the PMO sub-stream & pool of resources, inside Portfolio Staff Aug
  • Unlock capacity and capabilities to remove roadblocks from IMO delivery teams
  • Prioritize associate's first strategy, enabling right talent development thru highly engaged associates, for now and for the future DT organization. Decide on people's career strongly based on 5Ps


Context and Scope

This role will act as a strong player across all regions, co-pilots, regional leads, working closer to CIOs and their team members, enabling them to focus on the design & delivery of all IMO approved initiatives, for a specific timeframe. This role is crucial to manage the tensions behind the tension, and to equip the regional leads in three scenarios:
  • Global solutions, deployed regionally (big bang or phased approach)
  • Regional solutions, deployed regionally/locally
  • Local solutions, deployed locally


Education & Professional Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major with equivalent business experience. MBA/Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven 7+ years of experience in large scale portfolio, program, project management, preferable related to M&A
  • Highly experienced dealing with senior leaders


Knowledge/Experience
Preferred Experience:
  • Expertise in Portfolio/Program/Project Management, PMBoK/SCRUM certified
  • Recent experience in multiple M&As
  • 3+ years of experience in Vendor Management, with solid wins in vendor's optimization and strategic partnerships
  • Strong business acumen in CPG.
  • Experience managing and/or coordinating a variety of technical and non-technical talent in complex programs, multi-countries, multi-currencies, multi-functions.
  • 7+ year of experience working with senior leadership is a MUST
  • Fast learner, and strong cultural fit to Mars and its 5 principles

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 134,400.00 - USD 184,800.00
