Full Job Description
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Imaging Operations Manager to join our Digital Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving site financial performance, managing end-to-end imaging workflows, and leading a multi-shift team while maintaining absolute compliance with security protocols and chain-of-custody standards. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will: • Drive financial and capacity excellence: Oversee site financials to promote positive revenue and margin trends while directing capacity planning, equipment utilization, and comprehensive disaster recovery processes. • Ensure operational compliance and security: Guarantee all physical and digital document handling processes strictly align with organizational security policies, internal imaging standards, and local labor laws to maintain an audit-ready environment. • Lead large-scale federal document processing and imaging operations, ensuring compliance with all contract requirements, security standards, and customer service level agreements. • Drive site financial performance by managing labor costs, productivity, capacity planning, equipment utilization, and revenue objectives while maintaining margin expectations. • Oversee end-to-end imaging workflows including receiving, preparation, scanning, indexing, quality control, data validation, storage, and destruction activities. • Ensure strict adherence to chain-of-custody requirements, IRS Publication 4812 controls, NARA requirements, privacy regulations, and organizational security standards. • Manage disaster recovery, business continuity, operational readiness, and risk mitigation activities to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while serving as the primary operational point of contact for federal stakeholders, auditors, and internal leadership teams. • Utilize data analytics, operational metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. • Lead multiple shifts and departments while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and operational excellence. • Direct workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, training, succession planning, and employee development initiatives. • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations. What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have: • 7+ years of experience leading large-scale document imaging, records management, business process outsourcing (BPO), logistics, or federal operations environments. • Experience managing operations of 100+ employees is required, including multiple supervisors, team leads, and cross-functional teams. • Demonstrated success leading multi-shift operations in highly regulated environments requiring strict security and compliance controls. • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor forecasting, productivity targets, and operational P&L performance. • Extensive knowledge of high-volume document processing, imaging workflows, quality assurance programs, chain-of-custody controls, and records management best practices. • Experience supporting federal government contracts, IRS programs, or other regulated government customers strongly preferred. • Proven ability to lead organizational change, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement scalable operational processes. • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred. Preferred Qualifications • Experience managing federal records, tax processing, digitization, or large-scale imaging programs. • Knowledge of NARA requirements, IRS Publication 4812, PII/SBU handling requirements, and federal security controls. • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other operational excellence certifications preferred.
