About this opportunity:
We are now looking for a well-rounded and senior ICT Program Director to drive the delivery of 5G Core and Cloud solutions! You will be driving large and complex program towards Ericsson's customers and delivering the latest technology in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, competitive, and challenging multi-vendor environment. The ICT Program Director supports the Key Account Manager with extensive technical knowledge and is the overall responsible for the Core 3 team by owning the overall solution and the delivery model of the program.

What you will do:

  • Drive sophisticated 5G and 4G Core and Cloud engagements from initial scoping through delivery for Ericsson's Customers in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry.
  • Own the end to end delivery of the program, until the complete fulfillment of the contract, ensuring the continuity from pre-sales to delivery, actively seeking to improve top and bottom lines with due consideration to customer satisfaction and
  • Ericsson's business objectives since these programs often have visible impact on the Customer Unit and corporate results.
  • Build a strong Customer Relationship at C-Level. Adopt daily presence at customer site, becoming a sort of Ericsson "agent" at the customer premise to increase the customer's trust in Ericsson as a partner and system integrator.
  • Lead and empower local and global teams to deliver on-time, enhance profitability, and improve continuously, through strong governance and project controls
  • Identify all milestones, obstacles, recommend and implement workable solutions, identify and mitigate risk, raise and resolve issues
  • Lead change management including the definition of impacts to scope, budget, timeline, and quality with stakeholder agreement
  • Build strong internal and external relationships
  • Drive up sales opportunities
  • Harvest and optimize best practices, create and share knowledge assets to industrialize delivery processes
  • Promote a "one team" atmosphere and coach project team members to support their professional growth


The skills you bring

  • At least 10 years as Program Manager, Program Director, Customer Project Manager, or Senior Solution Architect, including Core and Cloud delivery
  • Earned University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
  • Successful experience delivering physical, virtualized, and/or containerized Network Function projects
  • Delivered Automation of test and deployment and have successful track record in adopting GenAI into program deliveries.
  • Supported sales efforts to drive new business
  • Successful experience with project control; you know where your project is and where it needs to go to meet your targets
  • Strong understanding of project management
  • Strong financial background and understanding of business case development
  • Highly developed risk-management skills
  • Demonstrated accountability, customer-focused mindset, positive outlook, willingness to help others outside your assigned activities
  • Solid relationship management experience (leadership, engineers, developers, support, and sales team)
  • An innovative and creative spirit
  • PMP Certification; preferable ICT PD assessment.
  • Strong Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
  • Strong persuading, influencing and networking skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, meeting customer expectations.

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

The salary range for this position is

Toronto : $144,000- $189,000

Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan : Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two-times annual base pay at no cost, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, at least 3personal days, minimum 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
