Job Description

  • 12+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on Middleware and integration platforms, primarily IBM ACE / IIB / WMB and IBM MQ and Cp4i SaaS.
  • Proven experience managing Middleware projects and BAU operations, including complex integrations, platform upgrades, migrations, modernization initiatives, and continuous enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of integration architectures and patterns, including event-driven, publish/subscribe, request-reply, and synchronous/asynchronous communication models.
  • Ability to plan, track, and govern middleware delivery, managing schedules, risks, dependencies, milestones, and financials across both project and run engagements.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with technical leads, architects, platform owners, and development teams to drive end-to-end delivery and outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and governance skills, with the ability to present clear, concise, and business-relevant status, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and govern HLDs, LLDs, interface specifications, and migration plans from a delivery, risk, and operational readiness perspective.
  • Good understanding of AI-enabled delivery and QA strategy including:
  • Use of AI tools for project tracking, dependency analysis, and delivery insights.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted documentation, impact analysis, and code analysis tools to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Defining test approach, test plans, and entry/exit criteria for integration solutions.
  • Ensuring adequate functional, integration, regression, performance, and resiliency testing for middleware components.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams leveraging automation, AI-driven dashboards, and intelligent reporting to improve throughput, predict issues, and support decision-making.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones and partner ecosystems.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to balance technical depth and business clarity.
  • Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments (e.g., large enterprises, transportation, utilities) is a strong advantage
