Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in Austin, TX. We are seeking a strategic, hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving people initiatives, strengthening organizational culture, and enhancing the employee experience.
Position Summary:The HRBP provides end-to-end HR support across employee relations, investigations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and compliance. This role serves as a trusted advisor, managing complex employee matters with sound judgment and discretion.
Essential Job Duties:- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals and drive employee engagement
- Lead and manage employee relations matters, including conducting prompt, thorough, and impartial workplace investigations, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate actions
- Provide expert guidance on conflict resolution, corrective actions, performance improvement, and policy interpretation
- Administer and support HR programs, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
- Collaborate with leaders to create, update, and maintain job descriptions and organizational structures
- Facilitate performance management processes, including coaching managers on effective feedback and development planning
- Support onboarding initiatives to ensure a positive employee experience
- Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, and benefits with a high level of customer service
- Monitor HR trends and metrics; conduct audits; prepare reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance HR service delivery
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; proactively advise leadership on risk mitigation
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, including employee relations and investigations
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (healthcare preferred)
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification a plus
- Proven ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Workday experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Periodic travel within the division territory
