POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner and advisor to department/business leaders, driving HR initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives. Acting as both an advocate and a change agent, the incumbent will collaborate with leaders at various levels of the organization to deliver impactful HR support in areas such as employee engagement, talent management, inclusion and diversity and workforce planning. Your prior experience and expertise in coaching and developing leaders, using data to create meaningful insights and optimizing processes will be crucial in enhancing the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- Collaborates with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Provides insight and recommendations to support business growth and operational effectiveness.
- Address and resolves complex employee relations issues, including conflicts, performance management and disciplinary actions. Ensures a fair and consistent approach to managing employee relations.
- Supports organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers and acquisitions. Supports cultural transformation efforts to enhance employee engagement through targeted interventions.
- Ensures adherence to federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with company values. Educates and trains managers on HR policies, procedures and compliance issues.
- Utilizes HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and drive improvements in HR processes. Monitors key performance indicators and report on HR-related metrics to senior leaders.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:- In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Workday preferred) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to interpret HR data and analytics.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Prior experience in an HR Business Partner or managerial role with strong background in employee relations, employee engagement and compliance, preferably in a large corporate environment.
- HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- 7-10 Years of progressive human resources experience.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence in our Phoenix, AZ office. This candidate will be required to work onsite 4-days per week, with the option to work 1-day per week remote.Please note, this position is not sponsorship eligible.
