Position SummaryAs an HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Boise site leadership while helping translate enterprise HR strategy into practical, locally relevant action. This role partners closely with leaders to support workforce planning, employee relations, organizational development, performance, engagement, compliance, and data-driven talent decisions. You will play a key role in strengthening site culture, improving manager capability, and connecting HR programs to measurable business outcomes.
Location: Photronics - Boise, ID (US). This is an on-site position, and we are not open to remote candidates at this time.
What You'll DoReporting to the Sr. Director, Human Resources - US/EU, you will:
- Serve as the site-level executor of global and corporate HR programs, including performance management, engagement surveys, recognition, compliance, and related initiatives.
- Translate company-wide HR strategies into locally relevant action plans that support organizational effectiveness, workforce readiness, and talent outcomes.
- Partner with site leadership to identify critical workforce needs and build tailored plans around headcount, succession planning, competency gaps, and organizational priorities.
- Provide objective guidance to managers and leaders on employee relations, talent decisions, performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and offboarding.
- Support the local execution of talent reviews, learning initiatives, career pathing discussions, and high-impact development conversations.
- Coach leaders on team dynamics, performance assessment, change management, and building an inclusive, high-performance site culture aligned with Photronics' values.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation while ensuring compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and audit standards.
- Track and interpret site-specific HR metrics, identify workforce trends or areas of risk, and present actionable insights that connect HR performance to business impact.
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities- Deep knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development principles
- Exceptional communication, influencing, coaching, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, site-based HR environment
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics, identify trends, and recommend practical solutions
- Proficiency in HRIS, data analytics, Microsoft Office, and HR documentation practices
Experience- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR role
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters and supporting change initiatives
- Experience with HRIS and data-driven HR management preferred; HR certification or advanced training a plus
Education- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
