Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Process Engineer III will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining photomask manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality, efficiency and yield. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams (e.q. Operations, Quality& IT etc.) to analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements that enhance yield, reduce defects and meet customer specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify areas for improvement in existing manufacturing processes and develop solutions to enhance efficiency, quality and safety
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to process performance, using engineering knowledge and analytical skills
- Contribute to process improvement projects, potentially leading similar projects or tasks within a larger initiative
- Create, improve and maintain documentation related to process procedures, specifications, and troubleshooting guides
- Develop or modification of processes to enhance capability, throughput, and yield
- Support new equipment installation, process characterization, and equipment validation
- Compile and evaluate test and production data to determine appropriate process limits
- Troubleshoot process excursions and develop corrective actions to prevent their recurrence
- Work collaboratively with operators, other engineers and quality team throughout the manufacturing flow to conceive and plan projects to improve manufacturability
- Provide technical support and training to operators and technicians
- Additional responsibilities assigned
Travel:
- Ability to travel up to 5% domestically as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, scripting environments, and database management systems, with experience in data architecture, query optimization, system integration, and automation of complex workflows.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, problem solving methodologies, and relevant manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of various cleaning, developing, etching and patterning (lithography) techniques.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis.

- Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or ERP systems.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of engineering experience within semiconductor, photomask, microelectronics, or high-technology manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity working in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment is preferred
- Certified in Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
