In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of business and people strategy, partnering closely with plant leadership to shape a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workplace.

This role will be onsite full time in our Covington facilities, which will allow you to be both a trusted advisor and a hands-on change agent—helping leaders make better decisions, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and creating an environment where employees can thrive.

What You’ll Do:

Partner with Leaders to Drive Impact

  • Translate business goals into actionable workforce plans that support current and future success

  • Leverage data and insights to proactively identify opportunities, solve problems, and enhance performance

Elevate the Employee Experience

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner for employees and leaders, ensuring consistent, fair, and compliant practices

  • Champion a positive, engaging culture where employees feel heard, supported, and valued

  • Address employee relations matters with care, transparency, and a focus on resolution

Lead in a Unionized Environment

  • Play a key role in labor relations, including grievance handling, contract interpretation, and negotiations support

  • Partner with leaders to proactively mitigate risk and maintain strong labor-management relationships

  • Ensure consistent application of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and coach supervisors on CBA compliance, just cause principles, and progressive discipline

Develop Talent & Build Future Leaders

  • Support performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives

  • Create and execute a site-specific leadership development strategy

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract top talent and build a strong pipeline

  • Identify skill gaps and implement meaningful development solutions

Driving HR Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies

  • Continuously improving HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Lead or support key HR initiatives that strengthen the overall organization

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field

  • 7+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience within a manufacturing environment, including direct support of unionized workforces strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to build credibility and trust with both hourly union employees and site leadership

  • Experience navigating complex employee relations issues with a balanced, compliant, and fair approach in a union setting

  • Proven ability to influence leaders and drive change

  • Ability to analyze workforce data and trends to inform decisions and proactively address workforce challenges

  • Experience with HR systems (Workday preferred)

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically
