Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a strong understanding of client groups and fund administration business

  • Manage daily HR operations for assigned groups throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Provide support on employee relations issues, including investigations
  • Guide leaders on performance management processes and goal setting
  • Stay informed on employment laws to ensure compliance and minimize risks
  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding activities, including orientations and exit interviews
  • Review and document standard operating processes with leadership
  • Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects with People and Impact Team members

Full Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong human resources generalist foundation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and to be able to think strategically while carrying out the tactical day-to-day HR responsibilities to ensure the effective delivery of our People and Impact Team programs and services.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Establishing and maintaining a solid understanding of client groups and the fund administration business, in the interest of building effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Serving as the initial point of contact for employee and manager questions and inquiries
  • Managing daily HR operations for assigned client groups across the employee lifecycle
  • Providing support and guidance on employee relations issues including investigations
  • Guiding leaders on all aspects of performance management, including the annual performance appraisal, goal setting and compensation planning processes
  • Keeping up to date and current knowledge on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure actions recommended are in compliance to minimize legal risks to the Company
  • Conducting onboarding and offboarding activities including new hire orientation and exit interviews
  • Reviewing and documenting standard operating processes in conjunction with leadership
  • Supporting employee engagement and staff wellness initiatives
  • Partnering with cross-functional People and Impact Team members in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Engagement and
  • People Analytics on a wide array of projects and initiatives


Job Requirements, Skills, Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years' experience as a HR Business partner in a professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or similar degree
  • Strong background in employee relations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recognize and shift priorities proactively as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to analyze and communicate data gathered
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of UKG/ UltiPro and Monday.com
  • Solid Microsoft Office application knowledge, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Ideally hold PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP


The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.

Work Arrangement:

All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule, comprised of three (3) days a week in our office and two (2) days remotely.
