Salary Range:$39.90 - $46.27

Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.

Position Summary:
  • This position reports to the Executive Director of Human Resources.
  • Serves as a strategic Human Resources partner by aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Serves as a strategic partner, employee advocates, and change agent by assessing and anticipating HR-related needs, communicating those needs proactively with HR leadership and other departments, and developing integrated solutions.
  • Provides guidance and consultation to leadership on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and employment law compliance.
  • Analyzes HR metrics and workforce trends to support data-driven decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrates performance aligned with the mission, philosophy, and strategic goals of the department and organization while maintaining flexibility with evolving systems and processes.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulatory requirements related to workforce management.
  • Promotes employee engagement and fosters a collaborative, professional, and positive work environment.

Position Duties/Responsibility:
  • Assist Executive Director of Human Resources (EDHR) to support employee relations initiatives, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and performance-related matters.
  • Develop and support employee engagement and retention strategies that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Interprets and advises management on HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
  • Assist the EDHR with compensation analysis, market benchmarking, and salary administration initiatives.
  • Assist with HR audits, compliance reporting, and workforce data analysis to inform organizational planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Follows up on HR delegated tasks to ensure quality and completeness.
  • Build collaborative relationships with managers and employees to enhance communication, improve employee engagement, strengthen morale, and support productivity and retention.
  • Oversee employee leave programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), disability, workers' compensation coordination, and other applicable leave policies.
  • Review employment applications, evaluate candidate qualifications, and coordinate referrals to appropriate hiring managers and departments.
  • Assists in conducting New Employee Orientation.
  • Process and monitor employee benefit with HR staff for arrears payments for missed payroll deductions, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reconciliation.
  • Coordinate and maintain quarterly and annual employee training and education programs, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain annual Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance records and systems, including preparation, review, and distribution of annual Form 1095-C statements.
  • Maintains a neat, organized, and safe environment for visitors and staff.
  • Promotes a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborates with others to achieve department and organizational goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Position Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience : Required 5-7 years' experience in Human Resources in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Skiills/Ability: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to organize work assignments, follow through with accuracy, exercise sound judgment, and show initiative, emotional stability, and professionalism.
