Responsibilities

  • Track and manage all Work Comp claims
  • Oversee work instructions related to PPE and safety protocols
  • Support the reporting of HSE indicators such as lost time and audits
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement

Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Coordinator in the Saline, MI area. This is a direct hire role where you will need previous experience within the industrial / manufacturing plant space with strong emphasis in handling auditing as well as experience handling work comp claims.

Location: Saline, MI
Pay: $85-$95K DOE

  • Professional Safety Certifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of Work Comp experience
  • Auditing experience
  • Management Systems Experience
Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist HSE Manager
  • Monitoring of legal compliance/management of site relations with local government and regulatory organizations
  • Communicate safety and environmental policies and coach and support the site employees.
  • Supervise first aid and local medical care procedures as well as coordinate emergency actions and handle initial accident inquiries
  • Monitor and stay on top of all WC claims
  • Handle work instructions for PPE usage and safety protocols as well as ordering of supplies
  • Support the reporting of legal, insurance and other HSE indicators lost time, medical treatment, first aid and Near Miss, Audit results, environmental data
  • Oversee continuous improvement ideas
