Full Job Description
This position serves as a Human Resources Business Partner to a diverse and large consulting segment within the Education & Research Industry. The incumbent will provide strategic HR partnership, direction, and consultation to leadership while working closely with the HRBP Strategy Leader for Education & Research. He or she will be accountable for supporting the overall needs of the segment and driving success related to people metrics. The HRBP will play a highly visible role and serve as a key member of the business unit's leadership team. He or she will have primary responsibility for the integration, development, engagement, and retention of employees within their business unit. • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing strategic advice, counsel, and consultative solutions on all people-related matters. • Analyze workforce trends and metrics in partnership with HRBP peers, operations, resource management and business leadership to identify opportunities and implement solutions that support business goals. • Drive organizational development, team effectiveness and employee engagement solutions that enhance business outcomes. • Collaborate with Enterprise Centers of Excellence (COEs) to design, implement, and evaluate HR programs and initiatives that address business needs and advance HR strategies. • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Education & Research Industry and assigned business unit, including their strategic plans, operating model workforce plan, budget, and service offerings, to provide strategic recommendations and value-add solutions. • Drive execution of annual HR processes/programs including performance management, talent assessment and reviews, individual development planning, and compensation planning • Maintain knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements, partnering with the Legal, Employee Relations, and Shared Services to mitigate risk and address employee matters appropriately. • Evaluate issues, patterns and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs (i.e. training to address certain needs). • Partner with the HR Strategy Leader and key business leaders to proactively execute all people related issues. • Provide tactical support for day-to-day operations of the business. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree with a focus in human resources, organizational development, business, or related field • Prior experience in the management consulting industry or professional services industry strongly preferred • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience; global experience preferred • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a high level of independence; ability to connect the dots and figure out how to get things done • Strong business acumen, communication, and executive presence • Experience leading projects with support from senior leadership • Interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively partner and collaborate across geographies, functions, and levels with a global mindset. • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively balance competing priorities while adhering to specific deadlines. • Proficient in HRIS technology applications (Workday) that support the process/administration of talent transactions, such as training, performance evaluations, talent reviews, data analysis and reporting, etc. • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar platforms) to streamline HR workflows, analyze workforce data, and accelerate the development of policies, job architectures, and employee communications. Preferred Qualifications • Strong analytical capabilities with experience translating data into actionable insights and recommendations; data visualization experience is a plus. • Collaborative problem solver with agility, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset • Experience working in a matrixed organization, large corporate setting, or professional services organization #LI-EA1 #LI-Remote The estimated base salary range for this job is $110,000-$150,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $132,000-$180,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
