Full Job Description
HR Manager to lead day-to-day human resources operations for our family of brands. This hands-on generalist will partner with leaders and employees to manage employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, payroll administration, and HR operations in a growth-oriented environment.

The position is a hybrid role based on-site at our Fort Worth, TX office.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Employee relations: Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers; address concerns, investigate issues as needed, and guide resolution consistent with company values and policy.
  • Benefits & leave administration: Administer benefit enrollments, changes, and vendor coordination; manage leave processes (e.g., FMLA/state leave as applicable), accommodations, and return-to-work planning.
  • Compliance & risk management: Maintain compliant policies and practices across hiring, payroll administration, HR recordkeeping, I-9, EEO, wage and hour, and workplace safety coordination; monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates.
  • HR policies: Own the employee core policies; communicate updates clearly and train managers on consistent application.
  • HR operations & systems: Maintain HRIS/employee files, reporting, and data accuracy; create simple workflows, templates, and standard operating procedures. Will also be responsible for providing reports as necessary to the CPO
  • Offboarding: Manage resignations, exit interviews, final documentation, equipment/permission coordination, and process improvements based on feedback.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience with broad generalist responsibilities; strong preference for candidates with small-company or multi-brand experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) or willingness to obtain.
  • Working knowledge of core employment practices
  • Demonstrated experience administering benefits and leave and partnering with vendors (broker, carriers, EAP, etc)
  • Direct experience running or administering payroll, including working with finance/payroll systems and vendors.
  • Strong written documentation skills and the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with HRIS tools and Microsoft Office, with Excel proficiency required.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and manager-influence skills; proven ability to balance employee advocacy with business needs.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

While performing this role, you must have ordinary ambulatory skills to move around the office and visit other locations. You should be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate light to medium weights (10-50 pounds). Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity are required for keyboard work and reading technical documentation. You will frequently sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and listen.
