Labor Relations Manager
The successful candidate will ideally have labor relations experience, including direct experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements, This person will also establish strong working relationships with the employees and union contacts. In addition to a focus on labor relations, broader experience in other related areas (production legal experience and physical production experience) is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Labor & Employee Relations: Administers labor agreements, handles grievances and disciplinary procedures, and mediates internal conflicts to ensure a fair workplace.
- Compensation & Benchmarking: Conducts salary benchmarking to balance external market pricing with internal equity, ensuring FLSA compliance.HR Reporting &
- Policies: Develops and maintains HR reports, assists with employee handbooks, and prepares data for negotiations.
- Management Training: Partners with cross-functional teams to educate managers on workforce relations, policy enforcement, and leadership best practices.
Requirements & Compensation:
- Experience & Education: Typically requires 5+ years of experience in HR or Labor Relations, ideally backed by a Bachelor's degree in a related field and PHR or SHRM certifications.
- Salary Range: The anticipated base salary for this position is generally between $120,000 and $160,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Location: The role is onsite in Studio City, California.
