NOW HIRING: HR Regional Director

Compensation: $160,000-$179,000 per year

Job Overview

The HR Regional Director will be responsible for providing comprehensive human resources leadership to all departments and employees. Directives include but is not limited to; legal liability, training, hiring practices and protocols. This position exemplifies the human resources priority of delivering the strategic vision and direction of SBM through the development and enforcement of its employees and policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Engage in business strategy discussions directly with operations leadership
  • Manage existing HR staff
  • Responsible for Policies and CBA compliance
  • Represent the company to customers, employees, and union
  • Effectively represent company's interests
  • Effectively represent employee's interests
  • Define requirements to reach business goals and identify where problems / challenges may exist to impede those goals
  • Implement HR practices in the field in the most appropriate manner to maintain business expectations and align with business strategy
  • Assist with the distribution of and training on new and revised HR related materials
  • Develop, coach, and foster supportive working relationships with our Human Resource Reps, office admins and operations leadership
  • Measure and track practices to gauge performance and HR investments made by the company to deliver the intended value
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information being processed
  • Actively promote positive employee engagement with a focus on retention of talent
  • Track and analyze HR metrics & develop/implement appropriate action plans for improvements
  • Adhere to company and department policies and procedures at all times, maintaining unquestionable integrity within this position

  • Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - May be required to have a valid driver's license.


Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
