This position reports to:
Product Marketing Manager

The work model for the role is: Remote, Cary, NC or Remote, FL

Your role and responsibilities

In this role as Homologation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to design promotional strategy in line with the sales strategy. Each day, you will ensure the planning and timely execution of promotional activities with appropriate technical content for the assigned target audience. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Technical Design and Promotions team proactively and ensuring a high level of technical knowledge.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Aligning the promotional strategy and activities plan with the sales strategy and sales activities plan.
  • Ensuring that the Promotions team supports the Sales organization by providing on-time and quality technical support and technical training to the target audience resulting in high customer satisfaction.
  • Creating business opportunities by providing support and fostering collaborations with key decision-makers, both within buying and non-buying segments.
  • Providing support to customers, particularly consultants, engineering firms, and architect offices, in project development and technical problem- solving.


Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related discipline PLUS minimum 10 years experience in Electrification Industry
  • Experience working in Product Marketing with Digital Power Distribution Relays, is highly desired
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Relays configuration software
  • Business development within Power Distribution industry
  • Business development in Electrification, Utilities and Industrial applications
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (primarily domestic)
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $119,000 and $190,400 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
