Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in Healthcare IT and a proven track record in program management and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of experience in the field, with a deep understanding of healthcare strategy as a deal breaker skill. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of healthcare IT programs while maintaining governance and compliance standards.
Responsibilities: - Lead and manage multiple healthcare IT programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
- Develop and implement program governance frameworks to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT teams, and executive leadership, to ensure program success.
- Facilitate program planning sessions, risk assessments, and resource allocation to optimize program delivery.
- Monitor program performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with program delivery, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing program outcomes and implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure integration of healthcare IT solutions into existing workflows.
Mandatory Skills: - Extensive experience in program management within the healthcare IT sector.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Proven expertise in healthcare strategy development and execution.
- Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare data analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and interoperability standards.
- Certification in project management (PMP, PgMP) or program management.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master-s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in program management, specifically within the healthcare IT domain.
- Demonstrated success in managing large scale healthcare IT programs with measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
