As part of the Americas Business Strategy and Operations (ABS&O) organization, the Scaled Sales Programs and Ads Policy team bridges high-level business priorities with strong day-to-day sales execution to drive future-growth initiatives. We empower the Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS) organization by ensuring cross-functional alignment of goals, helping teams drive strategic partnerships, and delivering the critical insights and enablement sellers need to thrive.

As the Head of Scaled Strategies, Programs and Ads Policy, you will lead a critical team responsible for driving the operational accuracy, sales motions, enablement strategies, and Ads policy landscape that power the ALCS organization. You will manage a high-performing team, orchestrating initiatives across ALCS seller effectiveness and the Americas Ads policy agenda, acting as a central linchpin between Global Commercial Execution (GCE), Product GTM, Sales GTM, Trust and Safety, and ALCS leadership.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $234000 - $326000 (USD) 25% bonus target equity benefits

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of Strategy and Operations professionals to execute on critical ALCS priorities across sales operations, AI tooling, and Ads policy strategy.
  • Drive strategy and change management for ALCS sales operations, including globally aligned pipeline guidance and executive reporting, and scale key sales motions.
  • Partner with Global commercial execution and regional stakeholders to define core behaviors and role accuracy for top-performing sellers, reducing operational friction and enhancing workflow standardization.
  • Set the goal for Americas Ads policy strategy by identifying emergent risks and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate regulatory shifts into actionable business efforts.
  • Direct the ALCS learning agenda and facilitate critical governance forums to secure executive buy-in and align cross-functional teams on strategic priorities.
