About this opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the AT&T Network Management & Cloud Infra Programs. The ideal candidate should hold GIAP 8 certification and possess extensive expertise in successfully managing large-scale transformative programs. This role is critical in driving strategic objectives, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving impactful results for AT&T's EIAP/ SMO & CNIS Infra products implementation.

What you will do:

  • Lead Program Management: Oversee all aspects of AT&T's Network Management & Cloud Infra projects, ensuring seamless execution across planning, implementation, and delivery phases.
  • Financial Discipline: Accountable for achieving financial targets set for the programs & managing financial hygiene and governance across the programs.
  • Strategic Alignment: Align program objectives with AT&T's strategic goals, driving Network Management transformations and ensuring milestones are achieved effectively.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between Ericsson and AT&T, addressing customer demands and delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Resource Optimization: Manage project resources efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost-effective operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Fit in within Ericsson's CORE3 structure as a CFR and Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including technical and business units, to deliver desired outcomes.

The skills you bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; a postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • GIAP 8 Certification: Demonstrated mastery of advanced skills in program management and leadership as validated by GIAP standards.
  • Proven Expertise in NM & Core Programs: Successfully led Core transformation & Network management projects, showcasing a track record of driving innovation, operational efficiency, and business growth.
  • Cloud Native Knowledge: Deep understanding of cloud-native technology and infrastructure, including solutions like Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD processes, software lifecycle management (LCM), and microservices architecture.
  • AI and Automation Enablement: Strong understanding and experience with leveraging AI-driven and automation-based methodologies to enhance efficiency, improve execution timelines, streamline operations, and enable digital transformation in complex network environments. Proven ability to integrate AI and automation into large-scale Cloud Native initiatives.
  • Strategic Visionary: Ability to build winning strategies that align with customer needs, optimize network function integration, and deliver transformative outcomes.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Experienced in coaching and mentoring towards excellence, contributing to content generation, community leadership, and driving ROI in organizational goals.
  • Security Expertise (Optional): Knowledge of telecom security, trustworthy AI, and regulatory frameworks as applied to CSS products.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong customer handling and stakeholder relationship skills with experience in delivering cross-functional collaborations.
  • Preferred Attributes - Demonstrated growth mindset with a passion for driving cutting-edge Cloud Native products. Prior hands-on experience with AT&T account Programs/Projects.
  • Location & Work Type This role is based in the Plano, US Ericsson HQ, focusing primarily on AT&T delivery, with occasional travel as required. Work arrangements may include hybrid or on-site, depending on project demands.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

Your Financial Security

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
