About the roleWe're looking for a Head of Product Management to lead our product organization across Barcelona and Austin. You'll manage a distributed team of product managers, set the standard for how product gets built here, and own the outcome - not just the plan.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will coach and grow PMs, but you'll also be in the details: shaping specs, unblocking delivery, and making sure commitments land on time. If you're looking for a purely strategic seat above the work, this isn't it.
Biorce builds AI-agentic products, and we build them with AI-agentic processes. You'll be expected to develop and continuously tune how our PMs work - what gets automated, where humans stay in the loop, and how the team ships faster than a traditional product org could.
A note on pace and hours. We are moving fast in a demanding market, and this role carries a high workload. It spans Barcelona and Austin, so you'll need to be reachable and responsive across both time zones - questions from either side shouldn't wait a day for an answer. We're upfront about this because it's better to know now than to find out in month three.
What you'll do:- Lead, hire, and develop a team of product managers across two sites and time zones
- Own delivery: ensure roadmap commitments ship on schedule, with clear accountability when they don't
- Push the team and maintain oversight - making sure what PMs define is genuinely aligned with the product roadmap, and that cross-squad dependencies are identified early and actively managed
- Define and evolve the product development process for an AI-agentic product portfolio, including how product managers themselves use AI in their daily work
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Product Design, the Head of Project Management, Engineering, our scientific team, and product owners - this role sits at the center of those relationships and depends on getting them right
- Translate the needs of sponsors, CROs, and clinical teams into product requirements that hold up under regulatory scrutiny
- Establish the metrics that matter - adoption, time-to-value, delivery predictability - and report on them to the VP of Product & CPO.
- Raise the bar on product craft: discovery quality, written specs, customer evidence, and prioritization discipline
Qualifications: - AI-native. You use AI tools daily and can design, teach, and tweak the processes that let product managers drive an AI-agentic product development process
- At least 7 years of work experience, including several years managing product managers
- Proven track record shipping complex B2B or enterprise software on time
- Experience leading distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones
- Ability to hold a high bar and push a team without losing it - direct, demanding, and fair
- Strong written communication - you can make a complex product decision legible to an executive, an engineer, and a customer
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous, scale-up environment
- Fluent English; other language is a plus
Nice-to-haves- A technical background and real technical skills - enough to reason about system architecture, LLM and agent behavior, data models, and trade-offs, and to hold your own in a design discussion with engineers
- Clinical trial knowledge: protocol design, clinical operations, regulatory submissions, or experience working with sponsors and CROs
